A well-balanced almost-flagship with excellent display, solid camera and strong performance, though design is drab and the UI busy.

  • Excellent, bright and accurate OLED display
  • Solid main camera with capable AI features
  • Strong performance from Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
  • Large 5,300mAh battery with fast 100W wired charging
  • IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance
  • Slightly drab and heavy design
  • Busy, iOS-like software interface
  • Can get faster for the money
  • Image to video feature has limited practical use
  • Not launching in the US or Australia

A well-rounded upper mid-range phone with fast performance, strong cameras and battery life, held back slightly by plastic frame, divisive software and weak ultrawide.

  • Loads of AI features and useful image editing tools
  • Fast wired and wireless charging
  • Great battery life
  • Solid camera system with Harcourt portrait effects
  • Dedicated 3x telephoto improves zoom and low-light shots
  • Plastic frame feels less premium than aluminium
  • Ultrawide camera is fairly weak
  • MagicOS software isn't for everyone
  • Macro photography is a weak point
  • Selfie camera is underwhelming and unchanged
